I had to laugh out loud at scott's first comment.

Dino, don't be so hard on Prince Charles. He thinks modertn architecture is ugly. Thae's a point for him---and besides he has been waiting almost forever for the throne. It has to be frustrating, though you don't wish anything bad to happen to your mother. A Catch 22 situation. I kind of like the Prince---and I think he and Camilla are happy.

dino- npr has been holding a contest for olympic poetry- too late to enter i think- they had a neat story abt poets at the ancient olympics- and what happened to them if they wrote poorly

tell all of us abt yr posting re retimbekos (sp)

I like Prince Charles.  He's about my age so I identify with him, always remember him standing as a young boy on the balcony at Buckingham Palace at his mother's coronation in 1953.  He is not a total airhead like some of the Royals and is actually a thoughtful and interesting man.  Besides, as you can see from the following graphic, he is clearly a supporter of Liverpool F.C. as I am.  Wink

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, was left dangling on a zip wire for several minutes when it stopped working at an Olympic live screen event.
