Haikus, have never been my strong suit. However, there are times when I like to experiment, with words using at least of some of of the principles that are used in the creation of a the Haiku. I should add that I am a fan of William Carlos Williams, and most of this piece, is inspired by some
of his techniques.

Anyway, here I go.

 Smiley

On A Red Tulip, A Monarch Butterfly.

Nothing can stop her from enjoying a few moments of quiet to herself, as she sits within the folds of the  flower, drinking in the nectar, which brings life to her insect body.

You are in excellent company with regards to Dr. Williams, Ginsberg, Lew Welch and many of the beats were totally inspired by the old Doctor from Paterson, N.J. This poem is awesome Richard.
