Always in want
A greedy group
Never satisfied
Unbalanced books
Penny pitchers
Strive to be Right
Ready to plunder
Then imprison
Dogmatic ministers
Surrender wallet
N' some...

Every post on this website was made possible only through a free market system at work, corporations building instruments, electronics, and profit driven. Good capitalism!

Define "bad", Nazz. The "corporation"  is only a legal tool for protection, and there are different types.Have you studied law?

I don't think anyone questions the innovative gadgetry available to us, the prevailing question for those of left persuasion is are you comfortable as a citizen that enjoyed this higher standard of living, knowing it was all possible only because of the exploitation of slaves that belong to corporate facilities all over the world, that make this shit affordable.

This the sticking point I feel for most liberals.....at some point you simply admit, yea there is a lot of great consumer goods here in the US, but shouldn't we at least try to raise attention to the atrocities that make this possible. I don't feel this is anything that anyone on the left needs to apologize for

I have always felt like blind faith in anything is very dangerous.

this is not even about gadgetry. every single thing that you use in your life was created by some company, somewhere. to somehow associate the word "work" with slavery is a stretch. how do you propose people support their families? this is the typical bullshit that comes from leftists. they should stick with what they know, few of them understand the true workings of corporations, how they operate, what makes them successful. that's where their bitterness rest, can't stand to think that somebody became more successful than them...a bitter bunch, preachy! corporations and small businesses finance this entire country

define "leftwingedness," and explain what it has to do with "hating companies" or "hating success"...

bard u r hurtling off the trax-
first the left fights for the redistribution of wealth- are you against that? but capitalism fosters greed and the channeling of wealth to the very few- say top 20%
are you for that?
Che went into Bolivia to foment revolution against its corrupt dictatorship0-for that he ws killed by the US of A, the CI of A
yr logic is just plain screwy-
please do not come back and criticize me becuz of either Pol Pot, Mao, Fidel, Hugo, and on ad finitum
the logic of the right on so many issues- global warming, tricle down, etc is so egregious as to b egregious
i always wanted to use that word twice

and those on the right vote against their own interests, not realizing it is THEY who are being screwed

Incorrect, Mr. Bog, nobody is hurtling anywhere. Wealth goes to those who earn it, and the Left never seem to earn anything other than what they think the universe owes them. Redistribution with leftists usually means against one's will, or, a bullet to the head! Che was a mass murderer who left a trail of pregnant unsupported women, and a trail of executions, which he personnally pulled the triggers. Personnally, I suspect that Castro felt threatened by him, and... Che was a failed doctor who couldn't manage his even own life. He had no business dumping his own set of values on the rest! South Americans are quite capable of running their affairs. You Leftist want societal perfection, then begin with oneself. If you think you're going to march enmasse and take what others have earned while you were asleep at the wheel, guess again! Leftists are like warts left from 1981. 2012 is a more technical world than you can handle. Stick with the Flintstones. Get some medicine and move on...

don't be dogmatic and/or blind.  capitalism has its own "wealth redistribution" scams, tolerated (and even promoted) by bought corporatist government.

it's not hard to argue that capitalism is closer to "the answer" than totalitarian pure socialism, perhaps even much closer, but that's hardly a challenging intellectual exercise.  pure capitalism is not the final answer any more than pure socialism is.
