is it my job to educate everyone on basic stuff over and over?  not really. folks need to do a little work of their own.  for example, do you deny that bush-cheney's claims of saddam's grave threat were lies?  you deny that iraq's supposed connection with al qaeda was a blatant lie?  after the 9/11 commission report and everything that's come out since?  you deny that there was some serious war-profiteering going on-- all of these no-bid contracts worth billions? and yet this is all good, "healthy capitalism" to you?  what is there to "cite"?

and what was that little sideways slam about a "piece of charcoal?" why do so many folks not recognize that their government's actions can at times actually increase world tension and make us less secure, not more.

and what "propaganda?"  "propaganda" is exactly what we should be challenging.

kick ass, of course.  haven't i been saying that?!  and some folks got so bent outta shape over it !!  yes, clearly, jesus was an ass-kicker (i said with a high dose of satiric irony)... yes, you can tell how much of an ass-kicker he was by all his pacifist-type language in the new testament.

and is the bible a "primary"- enough source??

sheesh...

i'm all for religious texts - ask anyone. i use primary sources for my rifleman poems and nobody can claim otherwise. i'm what's known in the business as a scholar.

yes, "learn to take an english course"  (sheesh).  i do cite sources occasionally.  (do you?)  if you scroll back, notice that i cited the 9/11 commission.  but that's probably not a "good enough" source for you, right?  what are you saying-- that i need to paste the actual paragraphs?  -- even though we all know (or should know) what's in that document?  what's your point?

lucas mccain never cheap-shotted. his ammo was the best - i think he made his own bullets. i'll have to check though. i'll get back to you guys after i complete my research.

let's get back to earlier in the thread.  i jumped in essentially to point out that some forms of capitalism can be more harmful than beneficial (for example, fraud perpetrated by wall street operators, and much of the sleazeball "financial industry" lobby).

and i fail to see how simply pointing out the above is so "diabolically leftist."  it's a perfectly reasonable observation--- even if one judges capitalism to be the best primary system overall-- as i do.  let's not twist things around so much here.  i mean, okay, maybe i was a little "flip" at first (it was probably that "surrender wallet" bit) --- but i clarified.

and is it even a "left - right" thing?  does it imply a "hatred of other peoples' success," or blanket "hatred of companies?"  nonsense.  i mean, i earn a paycheck from a company.

i live off my royalties for the rifleman poems. might start a franchise, but i'm taking it slow due to the economy.
