clinging to screens and doors
determined to find a way in
can do

zombie
armored intruders
impervious to poisons
no cure, no relief
bugged

invader
stupid slow
trolling, buzzing, searching
pacman of the insect world

the dead ones, I think, smell like talcum powder. I've never crushed a live one.

my house is crawling with these things......it seems a bit supernatural, they have appeared in every room, on bath towel, in my newspaper.......bet they'd look really menacing blown up a couple thousand times, marching into baltimore crushing automobiles.....can't wait for the movie.......but til then they gotta go !

Nicely done here, dannen.  Fine description well captures the beastie!

My wife hates these things and other creepy crawlies and I am often called into action in the evening to deal with them.

Good man Chris, my husband has a no tolerance policy with the litle buggers! He's on the warpath when we get home from work and if I spot one I'm to get him. He wants the pleasure of wiping them out. He can have it.
