Hello,

I am an intern at the Baltimore Resettlement Center -- a non-profit
partnership of agencies that provides comprehensive services to refugees
and asylees who are establishing new lives in the Baltimore area. Our
center periodically hosts special events for refugees and their families
ranging from art workshops to community-wide events. We are currently
looking for individuals who may be willing to assist us with our first
poetry workshop for refugees, either on a volunteer-basis or for a small
stipend (if our funds permit).

Would you please be so kind as to forward this message to any individuals
with Poetry in Baltimore who may be interested in volunteering with us --
and, of course, having an opportunity to learn about Baltimore’s inspiring
refugee population in the process?  Interested individuals are asked to
contact Julie Ferris at julie.ferris@theirc.org.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
