emel, do you know most pitching coaches discourage using it? i believe it causes serious injury to the arm.

I'm on a high fat diet so every pitch is a slider  actually Mike, I know several kids who threw it from about 13 on. It's only a problem if you throw it wrong or over use the arm. lots of bad kids coaching out there. |

scott, most kids never learn to throw them correctly, and wind up with shortened careers. hey, is anybody up to doing a PIB baseball jam/chapbook?

sounds good bardinator......I love baseball, got it from my dad and infected my son....I have a few baseball poems in the arsenal...wouldn't mind writing a few more......scott is correct I just had double shot for my nightcap....feel much better now...
