emel, do you know most pitching coaches discourage using it? i believe it causes serious injury to the arm.

I'm on a high fat diet so every pitch is a slider Wink

actually Mike, I know several kids who threw it from about 13 on.  It's only a problem if you throw it wrong or over use the arm.  lots of bad kids coaching out there.

scott, most kids never learn to throw them correctly, and wind up with shortened careers. hey, is anybody up to doing a PIB baseball jam/chapbook?

sounds good bardinator......I love baseball, got it from my dad and infected my son....I have a few baseball poems in the arsenal...wouldn't mind writing a few more......scott is correct I just had double shot for my nightcap....feel much better now...
