that there is no essential difference between the screen of the movie or the screen in our mind. as in hollywood so in the real world.
Dino, can you define what you mean by real world so I can better understand this comment and how it relates to the poem

Very nicely done here, Dino. Appears to reveal a truth about the bit players that most moviegoers would not notice. Fine work. I like the intimate, conversational tone which goes along with the theme.
Thanks
Chris

in everyday life, we observe - interpret - fantasize. we get fleeting glimpses of who and what a person truly is - often with as little to go on as a chance encounter. we think we perceive reality but it is an interior version of reality, a construct, that is self-referential to a degree - like watching a movie of a movie or mistaking an image on celluloid as the real thing. i hope that clarifies things. it's hard to put an emotionally based and generated concept into rational terms. that's why i write poetry.
i shouldn't interpret my own work. it's not my place to do so.

I once often thought about many of the stars and what their true identies would be like, it was fun to think about it, but that was the good ole days! Today, the paparazzi will feed you all you need to know...lol Great writing as usual!
