yes we have the play for play announcer, but he's not the man that brings the game to life...No..it's the Color Commentator ....he would use words like Paronamasia to freshen it up...he would have read the book, Hedonism for Fun and Pleasure to have a sense of how to entertain us....nice word play ...will he tell us the truth ? Do we want it ? ...or do we want something more colorful ?.....its hard some days to extract any sincerity from the mumbo jumbo that's trotted out as entertainment , or especially as news....peace

saw - It's ever-uplifting (sometimes astounding) when I Read cogent, yet personal, interpretations of my Work, yet is not this a mission of the Poet? We are fortunate as Writers of same to have the luxuries of crawling into our own heads simultaneously with another's, & back again, to mutual-resonance. In regard to your take on this Piece, to quote Ms. T (no, not a relation of Mr. T.), "...they're (spouting) mumbling jumbo!" Paz - H'H./H.e.m.

I want to know what "HFFP(TFAR)" is--help?
So far, I'm taking this as commentary on any/all of the Professional Liars out there--advertising, political speech-writing, etc.
"tho' fie be broken"--as in "semper fi"?
Hedonism For Fun & Pleasure, say The Faux Art of Redundancy,
cracked me up.

d.e. - Yes, I am of "Hindu Scripture" (Shabbat Shalom), however, the last time I trucated to count the Rings of Age, Lord, I was no longer in the guise of "hershey shehan," mof, I eschew chocolate, & "Cindy" is spelled w/"2 ee's"; but thx. for comin' by to inquire. Btw, did you attempt clicking on the E-mail to determine if this was possibly a message from a chukcha? H'H./H.e.m.

d.p. - "Fancy...", you say? Well, carcanet of Pearl, you forgot I said the "Best Friday after the 'Good One' sometime in the Spring when the Equinox has shifted to the nadir, & we would tip the antipode, recognized by our Word Jackets?" I'm crushed by your lapse-cum-coy... Hi! H'H./H.e.m.

Terri - TY, you're assessment/perception of the Work speaks loudly-with-import, more-so than the targets (& warmarts & martmarts...) the not-so-capricious jibe/gibe & jab is Xenoed-at, whom for all-their bluster, come-up (were It not so bloody & damaging) "fi-fie-fo-hum" (as in "hum-vee-hick'ls") http://poetryinbaltimore.com/smf/index.php?topic=18600.0And D. the Bold helped your "crack me up" to crack the Code, TY. The Piece is a "play-on-play," as is 'splayed from the jump; references to Cinema's Truffaut, a plea for cogency of Language, culminating in HFFP-TFAR, & of course, the Villanelle Form, by definition, a "redundancy" to hammer-It Home, where save for us as Poets & Artists & Writers & Thinkers (albeit OC), No Damn One is listening; I mean, how can ya', with an iPod in each ear ("Quote Sir Daniel, 'I got 2 & I ain't!' "), a PT Cruiser under each foot, a "cheesy"-crust pizza (counting each bite - chronologically <>), a Bud, & the "chiliporn" Internet...? H'H./ H.e.m.
