the wind comments through open windows
calls you
just give it a crack
even from sleep it calls you out
calls the savage in you
just like it knocks shutters
slams doors

combed hair, buttoned jacket
nothing withstands it
it tunnels to your soul
the corridors shake
adrenalin rushes
dust devils swirl up from buried memory
paper, petals, dreams fly
and you, nestled in your self
but goose-pimpled,
watch the ergs of force vector

and for what purpose
this show of Other?

For you Irish, it's to write. The elements, inner and outer, conspire within us to give them form and meaning.

So nice Irish.  The element itself, unseen but ever present.  And those certain types ofwind that defy explanation, but bring rhythm to their breeze.  Very nice.

A nice presentation of an invisible force we only feel, and see after the damage is done. Each line helps to define this beast. Nice work, Irish,  and welcome back, hoping the computer stays healthy. That Spyware is worse than the big viruses. I think a back up drive is necessary these days. I'm getting one ASAP..
