Hello emel. Thank you for clearing that up for me  . I don't take critics too serious because as a writer you have to write from your heart. Those that get it, will, and those that won't, won't  . I have learned that writing to share and express is more important to me than writing to impress a critic. Everyone has an opinion and last time I check we all have equal rights to express those opinions. So if my "karma" here is negative, such is life. I will continue down my creative path and enjoy the company of those joining me. As for this particular poem, it was a quick thought I jotted down to get out of my head  . I'm sure I will be adding many more lines to it. Take care everyone.

hello. thank you for reading and commenting about this quick, work in progress piece. i was in the library and started typing this, but my computer time was running out before i realized it. when i got home, i started working on something else and did the whole "out of sight out of mind thing" . i'm sure i will be adding more to it very soon. these were just some quick thoughts that came to mind as i looked at this site. thanks again to everyone for reading and commenting. take care. i almost forgot this question. what is the meaning/purpose for the "karma" thing under your name? thank you to anyone with an answer.

Hello everyone. I am looking for poets to feature on a series of dvds and events. I am also looking for some funny people to add to the mix for upcoming events. If you have talent or would like to suggest someone please drop me a line. The response so far has been positive but I would like to work with as many poets as I can to help promote this spoken word form of entertainment to more people. Hello fellow poets/authors. This is my first time as a member of a group like this. I hope to make new friends and network with many of you as time goes by. I also look forward to reading the many poems posted and sharing thoughts and ideas with others.
