WHEN is PerVerse? Third Thursday of each month unless there is a circumstance beyond our control. Check this page, the Calendar or the Random Email to verify.

WHERE is PerVerse located?

PerVerse is currently at Dionysus Bar & Restaurant-8 E. Preston Street. After renovations, PerVerse will be back to Cyclops Books. The address is 30 W. North Avenue (corner of North and Maryland Ave)

WHERE is parking?

There is street parking and a public lot behind Load of Fun on Howard Street

HOW MUCH does PerVerse cost?

PerVerse has no cover charge.  However, to show your support of the performers, we will pass the hat and donations will go directly to the performers.

WHAT kind of poetry will I see at PerVerse?

At PerVerse we have no rules about poetry. You will see poets who put some edge in their poetry or work outside the box or push boundaries or are experimenting. Perverse is the venue where poets can be themselves or someone else.

WHAT time does PerVerse start?

Cyclops Books ia open for your shopping pleasure. If you want to sign up for Open Mic, wesuggest you arrive 7:30. Open mic begins 8pm.

Can I feature at PerVerse?

Come to PerVerse. introduce yourself. I know a lot of poets but not everyone. Show your support of the poetry community –listen to other poets, sign up for open mic. Let us know you’re interested. Even if you are an established poet, make contact.

You can also email samples of your work. Two or three poems gives us the best sense of your work and therefore which poets to schedule with you.

If you don’t hear from us in a reasonable time, email again.
